UN Resolution 1325
As a follow-up to a precedent setting conference held in 2003 in Tel-Aviv on UN Resolution 1325, cosponsored with the Isha L'Isha-Haifa Feminist Center, Kayan co-edited and co-published this tri-lingual collection of articles on 1325, in Arabic, Hebrew and English. The articles give insight into the resolution, passed by the Security Council in October 2000, and discuss the unique status of women and girls in Israel and Palestine, the effects of the ongoing conflict on women, and implementing 1325 in the region.

Childcare Workers in Israel
The Childcare Workers report, published in December 2002, details the plight of women who are unpaid for work in their homes providing vital day care services with infants, as part of a national program of home childcare for the community. For years, Childcare Workers did not receive due reimbursement for services provided, and both the local and national authorities had not recognized or dealt with this issue prior to this investigative report.
