Legal Department

Kayan's legal department, staffed by an NIF fellow, will research, advocate, litigate and publicize findings on right's abuses against women and girls (sexual/domestic violence, mandatory education, employment, human rights.) Data from the field will be documented and brought to the attention of justice and legislative agencies, nationally and internationally. Kayan will use these findings, along with specific concerns expressed by women in its projects, to litigate and advocate for full equal rights for Palestinian women in the law and before the law.
